Chichester is a lovely location for a perfect weekend.

The historic walled border town and ancient port of Chepstow is just two hours from London, via the spectacular and graceful Old Severn Bridge, commanding the entrance to the Lower Wye Valley in an “Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty”.

Cheptow boasts the oldest stone castle in Britain, the ruins of which have a spectacular setting on the cliffs over the river Wye. This powerful defensive position can best be seen from several points on the English side of the river. The elegant late 18th century town house at the bottom of the town, opposite the Castle car park is home to the award-winning Chepstow Museum.
